RATATAT - NECKBRACE another totally abnormal and awesome video by these guys. I think as far as music videos go these guys are becoming my favorite. In music class in college a professor had big head in the music biz come speak to our class. I forget her name. She claimed that because of the dying music industry people have much less money to spend on videos but videos are still very important for the artist. Back in the 90's artist would spend millions on a video, no problem, because they were actually making enough record sales to support it (some anyhow). Now a days there is not enough money to spend that kind of doe on a video. The task at hand now is to create a 1 million dollar video with $25,000 or less. The directors who can do great videos for $10,000 are the ones who will succeed. That being said. Ratatat is doing a great job at creating entertaining and cheap videos. I can't imagine this video cost more than $3000. I bet it was much less and look how cool it is. It just goes to show that a little creativity can go a long way. Do you think it's a good think that artist don't spend millions on videos anymore? I believe it's forcing creativity. Of course there will always be the show offs like Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Maroon 5 and all the other super pop stars like Bieber spending skrill on mega videos but who cares, they all suck anyway. This video was apparently directed by E*VAX the Ratatat member Evan Mast. Good job Evan!
Doritos® - Fashionista Daddy -- Crash the Super Bowl 2013 Finalist Maybe I am a crumudgeon because I hate this commercial that is a finalist for the 2013 Superbowl Commercials(and everyone else in the world seems to like it, especially women) but it just makes me feel sick. I hate how the dad eats that Dorito in like the gayest way possible with smudged makeup. I think all the dads across America, and especially middle America are gunna hate this ad if it plays. It makes him look like he is the prison fairy and he was mouth banged by sixteen inmate. He gets a Dorito for being a good sport and taking all sixteen loads. Here ya go sport, wash it down with a Dorito you little slut. Then his friends come over? Why do they head straight to his daughters room? Ok here is the scenario. You and a few friends roll over to you buddies house to watch football, you walk into the house, no one seems to be home, you don't go to the kitchen, you don't sit one the couch and wait for your
Laura Branigan - Self Control (Official Video) 80's classic I, I live among the creatures of the night! Ok, Laura Branigan , not only are a weirdo 80's hottie you make some kick ass music and I want to roam the night with your hot young 80's body. This video is classic 80's music creeper weirdo status (I think Branigan has got some lez in her) . I wonder what I would be like to be in college during the 80's and listening to songs like this at parties and clubs. I mean how do you dance to this stuff. I love it but I cant really dance to it, I just start playing air guitar and jumping around. How does that V for Vendetta guy control himself. aha I found this song and sweet music video over Christmas break when I was asking my mom what kind of music was playing in the clubs when they would go out in their late 20's. Well, my mom was 24 my dad was 28. After numerous stories about Studio 54 and the secrets to beating the line to get in, my mom fina
IRS poised to get $80 billion in new funding over the coming decade if the Inflation Reduction Act passes The Internal Revenue Service’s operations are catching heat as the tax agency is in line for an $80 billion budget boost under the Democrats’ proposed spending plan — and now there’s intense attention being focused on IRS workers who actually pack heat. It started as criticism from Republican leaders that the tax-collecting agency would bring on 87,000 new employees to “target regular, everyday Americans” with the $80 billion earmarked for the IRS in the Inflation Reduction Act reconciliation bill, which looks poised to become law. That’s a “ misleading ” claim, according to the Associated Press. The bill passed Friday in a 220-207 vote of the House of Representatives and is now headed to President Joe Biden’s desk to be signed into law. In recent days there’s been an online stir over job postings for IRS special agents who carry guns as part of their work with the IRS’s Crimin
