Facebook Wants Your Credit Card Number! (Gifting Service)

Facebook has mostly all your information. Your name, your email, your phone number, your interests, your friends, who you interact with, but now Facebook wants more! Just in time for the Holidays Facebook will be rolling out their "Gifting" program. As an attempt to impress investors and show that the network has the capability to make money, Facebook has developed an e commerce aspect of the social network with tracking, shipping and inventory systems. You will be able to gift things like Starbucks gift cards, iTunes gift cards and products from wide range of retailers to your friends an family right through the social network. Facebook has also announced that it will be laser targeting their ads based not only on peoples interests and activity on Facebook but also based on how they browse the Internet and what sites they visit. How does Facebook get that information? I will leave you with this and it's exactly what I said in a previous article about Facebook titled "FACEBOOK IS SIMPLY TOO BIG TO FAIL" Colin Sebastian, an analyst with Robert W. Baird, said: “The hard part for Facebook was aggregating a billion users. Now it’s more about how to monetize those users without scaring them away.”

  IRS poised to get $80 billion in new funding over the coming decade if the Inflation Reduction Act passes The Internal Revenue Service’s operations are catching heat as the tax agency is in line for an $80 billion budget boost under the Democrats’ proposed spending plan — and now there’s intense attention being focused on IRS workers who actually pack heat. It started as criticism from Republican leaders that the tax-collecting agency would bring on 87,000 new employees to “target regular, everyday Americans” with the $80 billion earmarked for the IRS in the Inflation Reduction Act reconciliation bill, which looks poised to become law. That’s a “ misleading ” claim, according to the Associated Press.
